India

India holds a special place in my heart, with its vibrant tapestry of culture, spirituality, and diverse landscapes. It all began two decades ago with my first journey to Kerala, where the lush backwaters and serene beaches captivated my soul. Since then, I have returned to India numerous times, drawn back by the magnetic charm of this enchanting land. Each visit has been a journey of discovery, an opportunity to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of Indian life and to forge connections with its warm and welcoming people.

My travels have taken me far and wide across India, from the bustling streets of Delhi to the majestic forts of Jaipur, and the timeless beauty of Agra's Taj Mahal. However, it is Kerala that has left the most profound impression on me. Here, amidst the tranquil coconut groves and mist-clad hills, I found solace and rejuvenation. Kerala's ancient tradition of Ayurveda has been a guiding light on my journey towards holistic well-being. Embracing the Ayurvedic lifestyle has not only nurtured my body but also enriched my mind and spirit, fostering a deeper connection with the natural world and a profound sense of inner harmony.

One of the most cherished memories of my time in India is celebrating Holi in the picturesque city of Udaipur. The riotous explosion of color, laughter, and joy during this festival of love and unity is an experience like no other. As I danced amidst the swirling hues of powdered pigment, I felt a sense of belonging that transcended language and culture. India, with its kaleidoscope of experiences, has become my favorite destination, a place where the past and present converge, and every moment is infused with the magic of possibility.

Seville

My recent long weekend in Seville was a great blend of cultural exploration and personal inspiration. Arriving during marathon weekend added an extra layer of excitement to my trip as I found myself amidst the energy and determination of a city full of runners. Their dedication to the sport was contagious, inspring me on my own long trainning run through the city's streets and parks.

During my stay at the Halo Boutique Hotel, I was transported to a world of old-world romance and elegance. The spacious room, adorned with intricate details provided a cozy retreat after a day of adventures. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight, with fresh and flavorful dishes stealing the spotlight, especially the succulent fish main followed by the chocolate desert - delifinitely balanced out the 30,000 daily steps!

Exploring Seville was a joyous affair, with each corner revealing new wonders. The majestic Plaza de España left me in awe with its grandeur and architectural splendor, while my visit to Convento San Leandro introduced me to the delectable world of convent sweets, a delightful tradition of the region going back hundreds of years. Wandering through the streets of Seville often felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem, it is reminiscent of a small Barcelona but with a distinct charm of its own. With fewer crowds and everything within walking distance, Seville offered the perfect backdrop for leisurely strolls and spontaneous discoveries.
